ABILITIES: Zoisite is a shitennou: one of four heavenly kings. Certain powers of his that accompanied such a rank have long since been tainted by the dark power of Queen Metalia and her subordinate Queen Beryl. Using the energy of the dark kingdom, he can create crystals out of thin air and use telekinesis to aim and hurl them at an enemy.

His second preferred means of combat is to create razor sharp sakura petals out of thin air and use telekinesis to hurl them at an enemy. This attack is less about precision and more about the sheer quantity of them being hurled. As a last resort, his hair can elongate and be used to strangle an enemy.

Zoisite has also mastered the art of levitation which is technically an extension of his telekinesis. He can teleport to any place of his choosing as well, though it helps if he knows what the place looks like.

PERSONALITY:

Zoisite is a complex individual. While on the surface some might see him as vain and somewhat fickle, beneath that exterior lies a calculating mind. He has never been one to accept defeat or being second best, and he often plans ahead for eventualities when thinking about missions or attacks. He values intelligence in others and often finds himself feeling somewhat superior to his fellow generals in that sense, with the exception of his former mentor. He looks up to Kunzite with what borders on hero worship. He wants to be as strong as him one day.

Though for a while he had been drawn to Kunzite like the connection he'd had with his eldest brother, over time he began to develop deeper feelings. During his reincarnation he has grown closest to the oldest shitennou. He's kept these feelings to himself, worried that revealing them would take away the time they spent together if Kunzite didn't share the same feelings.

Arrogance is one of his major weaknesses. He has a misplaced sense of superiority over everyone else, and a belief that where others have failed he will prevail.

Though Zoisite serves Beryl, his allegiance was not one hundred percent there. He does care about the other three shitennou, despite his lack of affection for their leader. He views them as brothers or at the very least very close friends. To him, they feel like a family, though he would never admit that to them. If he was forced to choose between her or them, he would choose them without batting an eye.

HISTORY:

In the time of the Silver Millenium, Zoisite was born to a young noble couple: Dolomite and Celestine Honda. He was the youngest of four children, the third and last son of his family. He was something of a spoiled child, but in the best sense of the word. His parents made sure he never wanted for anything, and his siblings helped take care of him while he trained to become a fighter. He was taught how to read and write and at the same time how to duel and strategical planning. He and his eldest brother Spinel developed the closest bond amongst the children despite their age difference; it was Spinel who taught him how to play the piano -- a talent that would carry through with him even unto the present. Eventually he learned why his parents had been taking such care to prepare him in all of these arts: he was to join the Earth's prince Endymion at his court.

Though he was the youngest of the guardians, at 16, he was more than eager to prove himself a worthy friend and member of Endymion's guards. He looked to the others and Endymion as extensions of his family, like brothers. Through, as was the case with his family, he was drawn to the eldest of them, Kunzite for the bond he'd shared with his own brother. He trained to fight with them, and was willing to lay
down his life for Endymion should the need ever arise. At least, that was, until the Moon Princess ruined everything. He had been taught to mistrust the Moon Kingdom by his family. It was common knowledge that the Moon Kingdom was envious of their actal trees and nature instead of their imitation. She showed up and began poisoning Endymion's mind with lies and ridiculous tales. Though on one of her trips to visit the prince, he spied on them, seeing one of her guardians come to retrieve her: Princess Athene of the planet Mercury. He found her to be incredibly lovely and graceful and the more he came to know her the more he grew to love her. Though, he would never admit it to the to the others for fear of being teased. He had a feeling they knew anyway: they had all found loves of their own.

He conveniently left out his feelings for the Mercurian princess when he went off to inform the others of his growing concerns for Endymion's love life. They had mentioned it to him when they had first seen the two together, but Endymion told them not to worry, that what they'd heard about the Moon was false. This time, they were not so easily held at bay. Instead of going directly to the King and Queen, they were stopped by one of the Earth Kingdom's lesser queens, a young woman by the name or Beryl. She told them that she could offer them a way to help make the Prince see the folly in pursuing the Moon Princess. He and the other's accepted the offer, but too late realized the price that would come along with it. The dark powers of Metaria tainted his mind and soul, taking over and replacing his thoughts with a blind servitude to Beryl. He fought alongside his fellow Shitennou during the battle against the moon kingdom, led by Beryl and the dark Queen Metaria. During the battle he fought against the senshi of Mercury. He landed a well placed blow with his sword on the young woman, ending her life. His mind began to break at that moment, his soul protesting at what he'd done. It seemed the terrors were not over as he watched in shock and helpless horror while Beryl confronted and murdered the Prince. That moment broke her and Metaria's hold over him completely, but only just in time for a remaining moon kingdom inner court member to stab him in the back with a sword. As he lay dying besides his fellow generals, he saw the Moon Queen Selenity pick up the sword the princess had killed herself with and walk away just before his life flickered out.

He hadn't expected the Queen of the moon to lock up people like himself with the ginzuishou, but sure enough a few millennia later he was reborn as Yuzuru Sato. He had two parents who doted on their only son. He lived happily for the first 12 years of his life, oblivious to the life he once lead except for a strange feeling that there was something missing from his life: or rather someone. Someone important that he was meant to protect. He went to elementary school, when he reached the proper age, though his sardonic sense of humor made some of the other children wary of him. However years came and went, six of them to be precise, and he had finally graduated. He was preparing to go off to a Junior High School finally when the unthinkable happened: it was just two weeks after his twelfth birthday. He had returned from buying himself some new school clothes only to find his parents laying dead in the living room. Before he could call for help a woman dressed in purple with long, red hair approached him. There was something terrifyingly familiar about her. Her presence filled him with a terrible sense of foreboding. She informed him that she required his services again. When he tried to run away, he was engulfed by darkness; both literally and figuratively.

When he finally came to he was awoken by some woman in the arctic circle. He soon remembered that he was in the service of Queen Beryl newly awakened by Queen Metaria's powers. He had no memories of his past life initially, and knew and cared only for gathering energy and eliminating those who opposed their plans. However he had to be retrained in the arts of fighting and the use of his dark gifts, and found himself under the tutelage of the eldest and highest ranking of the Shitennou: Kunzite. Once he was deemed fit to reclaim his title as the third in rank of the shitennou, he and the other three men who had been brought to the Dark Kindom were separated and sent to different parts of Earth to search for God only knew what. Two years had passed in that time, and he was 14 years old when he began to set up his base in London. While Beryl waited until she could pinpoint the exact location of the Ginzuishoul, Zoisite was put in charge of the European division. He was doing an effective and efficient job, if he did say so himself, though he had set up his base in England, he started elsewhere, gaining energy from the most westward parts of the continent, and slowly working his way back towards his own base. Once he made his way to London, problems began to arise. It had seemed like an opportune place to attack; there was plenty of energy to be had, but he hadn't counted on any opposition. Least of all in the form of Sailor V. He quickly learned that the young girl was more trouble than she was worth, and was only too relieved two years later when he was called back to their base in the arctic. His patience for fighting with her had grown thin.

He was then reassigned to Japan to help out his fellow generals in their attempt to find the seven rainbow crystals. It seemed they had begun to meet opposition of their own: in the form of even more of these so called senshi. They were nothing more than obstacles that needed to be demolished in his mind. Or at least, so he thought. The girls, however proved less than willing to be defeated. They killed two of his companions: Jadeite and Nephrite. Though he had not been recalled until after the death of Jadeite, when he learned of his defeat, he set out to avenge him. He was furious to have been met by sailor Mars while setting about his plans, and had to give up his hope for vengeance. When the senshi of Jupiter defeated Nephrite he was devastated, and set about trying to destroy them with a new passion with the help of his mentor Kunzite.
