LIGHTHOUSE

far out in the ocean - but not so far that people can't reach it - is the apparently useless lighthouse. there's no one to man the thing, and inhabitants of the town tend to sail out just for fun, tethering their boat to the small dock and walking up the long spiral staircase. at the top of the lighthouse is an amazing view; the entire town and the seemingly endless woods are visible.
