THE MONARCH

the monarch is the town's only pub, and a place frequented by its inhabitants. the bartender is attentive and never forgets a single order. there's a long wooden bar inside, lined with stools, and alongside that is a number of round tables with four chairs each. lanterns hang above, and a candle sits on every tabletop. outside hangs a swinging wooden sign adorned only with a butterfly burned into the plank.
